I saw this quilt hanging in one of my favorite quilt stores and fell in love! It is an
American Jane Pattern and I thought it would look great done in polka-dots. I got together with my
accomplice in quilting crime and we each picked our favorite polka-dots. After much consideration and deliberation we choose our top 40 dots, and got busy ironing, cutting, stripping and sewing.
I initially was intimidated by the hexagons, but once I learned it was made by strip piecing I was in heaven. This quilt got really interesting mixing and matching all the colors and dot patterns. I can't wait to finish it and get it on my bed!
I decided to add a final black border to the outside of the quilt so that it could be a fit little better on my king size bed.

It looks great! Pamela. Let me know when you are ready to quilt it.
Oh my heavens! This is incredible! I can't wait to start quilting with you, well watching you with my jaw on the floor feeling inadequate!
You are too sweet Cathy and Ella. Thanks for the encouragement!
It's fabulous!
cute quilt! I love the pattern you used and all of the polka dots!
So cute! What great fabric.
By the way...I really like your profile picture.
Wow Pamela, that's an awesome quilt. You have been a very busy girl.
I've been browsing through your quilts. They are all beautiful. Is this one still a work in progress? If not I would love to see the quilt in its finished state.
This is one of my favorites of your quilts! Beautiful! I love your Family Tree quilt, too--great idea including your family. I am helping the seminary kids make a similar idea. Exciting to see!
