Remember last week when I started the Tom and Lucy Quilt? We'll I've finished the top and back today and am sending it off to the quilter. Funny how you think piecing a back is only going to take the morning and then it turns into all afternoon too!
I used the tutorial from Red Pepper Quilts and it couldn't have gone smoother. I did add my own border and it makes the center rectangle floated...haven't quite decided how I feel about that. I do know I am going to do a black binding, which I hope will help ground the border. Happy Tuesday Everyone!
v cool. using dark color really gives it a whole new feel. like this a lot!
