I spend last week at my sister's house. She is an amazing friend and it always re-charges my battery to spend time with her. She is an amazing cook, extremely creative and has a zest for life that always puts a smile on my face. I wanted to share her chicken coop with you. It is so "chic". I never thought a chicken coop could be so eye catching!! You see it in her yard and you just have to check it out.
They took their old existing outdoor play house and chopped the legs off, made a few other structural adjustments and added chicken wire.
The chickens are smelly, poopy and so darn cute. They love their little roost and hen boxes. Happy Home.
Her flower boxes are the perfect "Tina" touch. If we ever get chickens this is exactly how we are doing it.
If you've got a chicken coop, add your link to post/pictures in the comments. I would love to see it.

I don't have a chicken coop, but this is the best one I've ever seen.
what an adorable little coop! what little hen would not want to "lay" in that pretty home?? Enjoy your blog so much, have fun with your sister..
Love chickens! Fresh eggs are totally the way to go. Way cute little coop.
Oh Pamela! This made my day. I love your chicken coop and your backyard with the raised bed garden. Bravo!

Fantastic Coop! I'd like to build one myself. Did your sister build this one?
It's lovely.

I have an inferior chicken coop, but very much plan to rectify that and replicate this as soon as I find some spare pallets!
Ohhh... This is the perfect chicken coop. Wonder if she lets her chickens roam free or are they inside all the time ?(both of which is ok by the way, just asking to figure out how people with gardens deal with this dilemma). Lovely, so lovely!
