Last summer we were at the park sitting in the grass and realized we were really sitting more in clover, and my husband says: "If you can find a four leaf clover I'll give you a hundred dollars". My then six year old jumped at the chance. The funny thing is he found the clover in about two minutes.
We brought the clover home and dried it. I want to think of something really great to do with it....something sentimental. Any Ideas? p.s. my little guy was so proud and thrilled to be so rich!Friday, March 6, 2009

My nephew found one too. Hi dad put it infront of a white piece of paper inside a frame. He wrote his son's name and the date in the corner - like an artist would sign his work. Now it hang's on J's wall.
I agree with framing it. Either that or maybe having it dipped in silver...
Nice story.
they are quite easy to be found, you need to be a lucky person with the right way of looking... like many children are. how great for your son!
i use the clovers i find for gift wrapping, i make wrapping paper more special by gluing them on and then applying some spray-on varnish.
but really, that clover is the most special one. so framing it would be in order! or applying it to the inside of the lid of a special box, maybe a of a box that keps his childhood memories?
Hey Thanks for stopping by my blog. My friend used to find 4 leaf clovers all the time. I never did. :( So one day she gave me a very special bookmark. She laminated one I still have it. I like the framing idea though too.
I like the framing idea. Youl could also have it put inbetween PVC "glass" kind of like a baseball card.
Did he really get $100? I love it! I swear I've searched for years, since I was kid for one. I need to go looking with your family. Do you think Adam would fork up another $100 for me?
I'm with Marie! I've never found a four leaf clover! What did Jack do with all that green? Kudos!
You could put in one of those frame's that are two piece's of glass so it is safe and secure in glass, then you could either write the story and put that in there as well or do the glass etching on it or both, Just some Ideas, let me know what you end up doing. That is a great story and memory.
I would frame it in a tiny shadow box!
